ARM Nursery is the Western Australian agent for Victorian based Chalmers Nursery, providing local producers with access to alternative grapevine material, with a focus on Italian varieties.

ARM Nursery also produces a wide range of tablegrape varieties and holds propagation licences for SNFL, Sunworld and ARRA. The development of high quality grafted tablegrape vines is an ongoing focus for the business. ARM Nursery has dedicated high health mother vine plantings of a wide range of tablegrape varieties and rootstocks suitable for delivering productive vineyards. 

ARM Nursery is a family owned nursery and Steve Partridge, the principal of ARM Nursery, has been involved for the past 30 years in the agricultural industry both in Western Australia and nationally, with a focus on horticulture and viticulture. Steve has previously worked for the WA Dept. of Agriculture and for large horticultural/viticultural development and management companies, with a focus on the development of vineyards, avocado operations and vegetable farms.

Steve has a strong interest in plant genetics and plant breeding and is committed to providing high quality grape planting material to advance viticultural and winemaking excellence. He is a past President of the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology and has extensive experience across Australian viticultural regions. The current site of ARM Nursery was established in 2019 with biosecurity considerations as a primary priority, allowing the production of high quality planting material to support your viticultural projects. 

ARM Nursery focuses on the development of trained staff who are committed to biosecurity principles and producing high quality material.  VINA accreditation and a documented systems approach to planting material supply has been implemented from ordering, stock material acquisition, growing systems and order fulfilment, providing you with a seamless process to access new genetics and improving your viticultural excellence.
